The Nets looked at the Lakers players and said we don't want these guys. That is the most important reason that Kyrie Irving is not on the Lakers. The Suns were very aggressive in pushing back on their interest in doing this trade. They absolutely talked to the Nets. There was absolutely a feel that Kyrie had a lot of interest in the Suns.
