New research shows that natural disaster plans cross the country are not queer friendly, and neither is california's. Ezra ramero: Disaster planning is for people who are in crisis, and that queer people feel comfortable going to a shelter to get food. "It makes it really hard in these disaster response scenarios to go get aid from an organization or place that you believe may not accept you," he says.
