The Lighthouse of the Rockland Harbour

Emma took her time, breathing deeply of the salty air that blew gently across her path. She scanned the horizon to her right, picking out the different parts of the rockland harbour in the distance. Lobster boys dotted the harbour on both sides, bobbing merrily in the rolling water. A couple of harbour seals lay casually sunning themselves on the warm rocks. As the shore receded into the background, the lighthouse very slowly loomed larger. In short, it was massive. Narrowing to forty three feet at the top.
