St. Thomas's Personality Types
For saint thomas, the contemplative and active life pertains primarily to individual persons. For example, the discas carmelites are usually referred to as contemplative because they spend much of their days in prayer. The sisters of mercy, for example, are more active because they spend most of their days at work s of mercy. So what is this personal bias that saint thomas thinks distinguishes people?
