Vedanta and America - The Emotional Response
Europe had already come in contact with Vedanta and Sanskrit language, both in the early part of 18th century onwards. But Europe produced a great man-like, Falducian, Hendrik, Max Muller and so on - but America did not produce an immersion. The emotional response from my Vedic was much more intense and much more lively. So, that also influenced and these thoughts slowly migrate to America. In the last decades of 19th century, it was a glorious time for this country, from a spiritual, philosophical perspective.
