Is There a Need for Cathedrals?

I saw that in just as much in Asian countries as I did in, in the west. The great yogis of Tibet didn't want anything to do with any kind of monasteries. They would just go to a cave in the mountains and they'd brick it up. It was free from all that kind of other stuff. And whilst on the one hand, it's not very kind of practical,. I think on the other hand, it created an environment where the focus and the intention was on the essence rather than creating these great establishments.
