I am grateful for loving mentors who did not let me off the hook and my first encounter with this was maybe 22 years old I was in a spiritual formation class. When I read the works of people like Henry Nowan and others who have who live with a sense of freedom of telling their own story without shame it seems, he says. He started receiving that through osmosis like okay it is possible to live a life that I can speak about what's happened to me without being so imprisoned to it.
