How to Improve Your Self Image

Depo copa, who's a nero scientist, says he thinks they're 60 to 80 thousand thoughts. So the important is that you have to plant the positive seeds. You can't just plot them. You've got to nurture em and take out the negative seeds. And if you do all those things, you raise yourself image. If you get nothing but negative feedback, you're going to lower yourself image.

The latest statistics i've seen from different places is about six thousand as the lowest number i've seen. But i've seen numbers as high as 70 to 80 thousand. Depo copa, who's a nero scientist, says he thinks they're 60 to 80 thousand thoughts. But let's just take the low number and say you got six thousand thoughts a day. Now what i would do is, let's say you have a board, and every time you have a negative seed thought, you put a black dot. You have a positive youv put yellow. At the end of the day, what does the board look like? Now if you do that for a week or a month, that's the way your life is going to be, the summation of those seeds, those thoughts. So the important is that you have to plant the positive seeds. But you can't just plot. You can't just plant them. Youv got to nurture em. You got to water them, you've got to cultivate them, and you got to take out the negative seeds. And that's why whenever i have a negative thought, i i say, cancel that. I'm happy, healthy, wealthy and wise. I don't want any of these weeds growing in my gard. So that's the way i work it. So i think that we've covered the the gambet. I have a lot of other material, but i don't want to bory you with it. I i think that i've really covered a most of the things. And of course, the important thing is the self image. And if you do all those things, you raise yourself image. Because i ask psychiatrist that i was going to in, say, doctor ranal jack, how do you, how do you raise your self image? And this is an important concept. He said, well, think about how your self image was formed. It was formed by your parents and friends and the environment you grew up with. That's what made you. And some of em are detrimental, some are positive. The detrimental are still in there. He said. So way you improve your image, it's the way you treat people now, because they're going to be feeding back how they feel about you, right? So if you don't treat em right, if you cheat em, if you lie to em, you can't expect positive feedback. And if you get nothing but negative feedback, you're going to lower yourself image. If you do the right thing, and you believe the right thing, and you and you become successful and you're able to help people, you get positive feet. Fact. So you constantly raise yourself image by doing that. And so that is why all of these principles that we talked about are important, and they all will help you no matter what you do. We haven't even talked about the market and analyzing stocks and so forth, but the principles are the same. Matter of fact, i went through benjamin graham's s i have a lot of quotes by benjamin grane. Can i just read a couple that shows you, here's the guy that study the mind and the body as much as anybody, and the market. Now here's the summation of it. This is out of the total field of totally out of the field. Character is far more important than intellect in making a man a good sant or successful at his calling. Meaning by character, not only such quality as honesty and truthfulness, but courage, perseveance, self reliance. This is by theodore roosevelt. So what he's saying is, all these things are more important than the intellect. Because, you know, a lot of people who have great intellects, they just don't do anything with it, or they do the wrong thing with it. So that's the foundation. Now, here's one of my favore this is by george draper. And george draper founded dayton hudson, and which is now target. Character stands out as preeminently the most valuable thing one can seek, strive for, struggle for in life. It does not come by chance. It develops slowly and can be easily undermined or wrecked. One must be content to live quietly and gradually proved to the world, governed by motives that lead him to be honest, truthful, square in his relationship to humanity, broad in his friendship, generous in his judgment of others. We sometimes hear people speak laughingly of the so called would be social climate. The building of character is a different matter entirely. Character is a matter of slower growth, but the reward is certain. In this world. In the long run, we get just about what is coming to us. So i have, but here's my favorite.
