The Republican Presidential Primary Is Getting More Crowded
The number of winner take all GOP primary states increased from seven to 17. That's between the 2016 and the 2020 election, according to an analysis by Gregory Court over at Bloomberg. In contrast, proportional representation means delegates would be allocated according to the percent of the vote they actually won. Unless things change, Trump could have an even greater edge in the 2024 primaries.
