A lot of people are hitting this spot of, I just can't take it anymore. Or if something doesn't change, I'm just going to go crazy over here. And where there's dysfunction, it's usually playing out in chaos in our relationships. So many of us are giving level 10 access to people without requiring level 10 responsibility for that access. The distance between those two is where dysfunctions are present and chaos is playing out. That's the need for a boundary. But on the flip side we need to recognize that establishing boundaries may cost us something that we like that we are getting in this relationship even if the relationship is dysfunctional.
Leading without healthy boundaries can lead to feeling frustrated, burned out, and ineffective. In today’s episode, my good friend Lysa TerKeurst returns with practical strategies for learning when and how to create boundaries at work and at home.
