Wheelchair Accessible on Air B and B?
There is no global standard for wheel chair accessibility. Some countries have their own national guide lines around this, but others have none. Many of our hosts had little exposure to or understanding of the real needs of guests with physical disabilities. Their own mental model of what would be wheel chair accessible just didn't always match up with reality. And so as this work started, it was really a research project first,. Our initial intention was, let's learn, let's create a really strong global definition for wheel chair accessible.
