The Governor's Impact on US Climate Policy
Jay Inslee has been the governor of Washington for a decade. He ran to be his party's candidate for president for the 2020 election with a focus on climate. Although in the end he was unsuccessful, his campaign outlined many policies that later became part of the Inflation Reduction Act. Estimates say that the law could move some $370 billion into climate tech over the coming decade. This week we find out how different governors work on climate policy while navigating fractious politics.
