Researchers at the university of zurich in switzerland compared hundreds of ancient human skulls. They found that the size and proportions of the skulls of homo sapian children from around a hundred and 60 thousand years ago were pretty much the same as children to day. But the adults were very different. And so as the brain reaches about 95 % its adult size by age six, that suggests that it's actually not the brain that's causing those differences as they come much later.
