How to Use Subtitles to Learn a Language
Chiagu: Sometimes I may turn on English subtitles, right, just like as a backup to rely the safety blankets you were talking about. And what I noticed is that our brain, yeah, it chooses the easiest way. So I start relying more on the text rather than listening to what actors are saying and it slows down. You shouldn't be ashamed of using subtitles is what I want to say here. We should use that as a tool deliberately.
