In 1800 BC in Mesopotamia, they found a letter from a son to his father who said, please get me some beads when you travel to this other city. And so it's funny that even back then, children were in Petruas and they would have certain souvenirs from places where their parents traveled. In Jerusalem, they would sell little vials that you could put water from the Jordan River in. It was cheaper to buy those little clay pots from Alexandria.
