I think we may not want to live in states with powerful identities. I happen to think though that resurgence of identities will also have some backlashes. What's fascinating to me is how often people don't think about how demand gets capitalized. So while politics and identity might drive some of these changes, I do think they're always really powerful opposing forces. And one of the biggest hits of the year of 2022 was a song that was 40 years old,. Kate Bush is running up that hill.
