Meetings Are Like Barnacles on a Ship

I think that meetings are like barnacles on a ship. If you don't scrape em all away every so often, they just grow. People sort of feel bad about saying, no, i'm not coming to this meeting. I remember there were severa times in my career where someone had said 'meeting is a waste of time' It was usually a meeting that i went to organized and it felt like a gut punch. But that is really important shed back that you're getting. And you need t be open to that feedback from people.
