The Risks of Low Platelets in Babies With Thrombocytopenia

The treatments that are used to try to improve the platelets are ones that affect the immune system, like steroids. One thing we sometimes consider is tif they see a jectory of them heading downwards: Maybe an induction at 39 or 40 weeks? There's upsides, there downsides. But it's something we might consider, either in conjunction with treatment, or before instituting any treatment.
