The Magic of Ever After

There's something about this book that feels very British fantasy to me. It also reminds me a little bit of Douglas Adams or that way. The castle move around the place not only does the door open to four different places that are completely different geographically and in one case a different dimension. Sophie is also always walking around in seven league boots which are these boots that seem to transport her across vast distances.
