The Nature of Mind
Bateson's notion of mind and he does you review the list that he lays out I believe in his book mind. In fact he stayed away from using much of the normal cognitive expressions that refer to brain abilities. It summed up really in an approach a very different approach to what neurophysiology takes or to what standard science takes as an achievement.
