Bain Capital - What Is the Prototypical Investor?
There is this intellectual curiosity that I think is core to what makes a Bain Capital investor different than the typical stereotype of our industry. 80% of our people come from consulting and operating backgrounds. That's like the inverse of the rest of the industry where 80% come from finance and investment backgrounds. And so again, I do think that there's obviously constraints on some of the private public context that doesn't allow you to actually share some of those synergies but I think the industry expertise is still pretty rich with at least so farwhat we've expanded into.
