How to Invest in a Long Volatility Fund
The volatility strategy is that specifically tail hedging? Is it more like near dated Delta one or is it also kind of an ensemble approach as far as volatility? Sure. It's an ensemble approach for many reasons. You can have different environments where either you have Vega expansion, Gamma expansion and directional deltas. And then the other thing you can do as well is just directionally short using Delta 1 futures.
