The book publishing world as we know it grew up around one simple idea, the customer is the bookseller. Bookstores used to be owned by publishers, but pretty soon after that, they became independent. But now amazon doesn't care what kind of book they sell, as long as someone buys one. It means planning six months or a year in advance doesn't matter any more. And with unlimited shelf spa, people have to take a choice.
