What Are the Keystones of Wolves?
A keystone species in general, as we well know, is that keystone in the arch. And if you remove that keystone, the arch can fall down. So wolves are an excellent example of a keystone species. They were extirpated intentionally, very intentionally, veryintentionally. Some people wonder, what about coyotes? They tried to kill the coyotes. They're a litte sier. But wolves, again, being in low numbers, traveling in packs, able to baiting, killing, shooting,. they camp, maintaine o viable population under that kind of pressure.
