There's no evidence that this occurs with COVID. Reinfection does not lead to increased severity. Most systematic studies have shown that disease severity is generally lower or similar on reinfection. The study has received some level of criticism that the study is based to older white males. Conditions are also evolving, and we don't have vaccines or timings on that different vaccines could have gotten, you know, different drugs they might have taken.
