I started drinking in earnest when I moved from Chicago to New York because we just played soldiers. After the show every night, we go out and just slam beers, you know. And so then after that, young guns too and this show I did called Going Places, I was back to square one with no money. So I wound up being a bartender at the red onion, which I don't think exists anymore.
