Hip Hop Is Not Just for Rappers, It's for Riffs

When Maroon 5 started incorporating hip hop because that is the only mainstream genre of music that still matters, they didn't just pivot to rapping themselves. They have actual rappers come to guest spots on their songs and remixes. The thing about the band too is I feel like their collabs are awesome; it checks a whole lot of boxes. It's hip hop musicians, pop artists. There was even an interview where Adam Levine said that he was worried that rock music was dying and that bands were going away. But no, very few bands, nobody fucking cares about bands.
