I only know about it because I watched my husband play it and it is a whole game where you play as an orphan during the black plague. Yes. The rats almost have fluid dynamics. So the rats are in these swarms that behave like water. It's really terrifying. And you can use a torch to scare them away and get through the streets without. Because if the rats swarm on you, you die.
