The History of Armenia

After alexander the great of macedon conquered all the lands of the persians, including armenia, in the fourth century b c e. Armenia would be sandwiched between two mighty new empires - the parthians to the east and the roman republic in the west. And this would continue as theParthians made way for the sisanians and the romans separated into western and eastern entities. The result would be that the kingdom of armenia would have its lands separated into byzantine armenia in the west, and persian armenia where the lands around lake van were found.
