Hannibal and the Battle of Lake Trasamine

Hannibal has just won the Battle of Trebia and effectively destroyed two Roman armies. The remainder are holed up in one of the Roman colonies in Sassapain Gaul which is now hostile territory. So Hannibal spends the winter recovering from that epic march across Southern France, across the Alps and down to fight that winter battle against the Romans at Trebia. He's demonstrated that he can defeat Romans in the field and so he's enthusiastically embraced by the Gallic tribes. During the winter he starts to put together an expeditionary force which will head south into Italy.
