Greenfield Development, Development on the Edge of Cities

There are cities across the country with tons of vacant area. There's more housing that could be built in those spaces than we would probably ever need, honestly. It's different from greenfield development where you can dig up some dirt and build a street. And when you're in neighborhoods that have been disinvested in for a long time and have all of these vacant lots, oftentimes it's like the first developer that comes in needs to front the cost. That's where our subsidy should be going if it's going anywhere.
