What Are Some of the Main Questions That You're Trying to Answer Before Your Career Is Over?
Coming up on 50 next year, I'm only beginning to realize that I'm not immortal. And so there's a lot of empirical projects going on now that I want to finish. In terms of the lab, cultural evolution is increasingly a major part of what we're looking into. So just like we use fruit flies to understand genetics because they're a simpler system and mouse to understand cancer, you can use bird song to understand cultural evolution through time.
