The Ends Do Not Always Justify the Means
In your book, you write, the ends do not always justify the means. We should try to make the world better, but we should respect moral side constraints, such as against harming others. So if health care or housing is a basic right in a global society that's as rich as ours, is it wrong to withhold those things in favour of future people? Ye, i think those things are morally very different.
