There is literally no way to look at this and see it as a success, whether your criteria is investor protection or innovation protection. There is a strong argument that the only pos abe paths forward are, one, outright ban on all token related everything, or two, an upfront framework that projects have to actually go through such as some version of a safe harbor. The current crop of regulators will just say, we have that framework already. And so here we are for ever and ever.
