Is There a Capacity to Force Suffering in God?

Many people today probably are of the opinion that God changes and definitely that God suffers. Many people want to believe in a God who can sympathize with them. The God who does not suffer would seem to be cold-hearted and indifferent. So anyway, that's just a little bit about my journey through this topic over the past decade or so.
