Is There a Feeling of Peer Engagement in the Application?

Teachers should be mindful of not throwing up flags when you don't mean to. Recommendations in our experience can frequently raise some concerns that aren't present in other parts of the application. If a student has shared some challenging details of an experience they've been through, outside of the context of asking you for this letter of recommendation, I would advise you to connect with that student and say are you comfortable with me sharing this background information?
