When you're in a state of anxiety, you're not rational. Small things that would have not even bothered me a year ago are keeping me up at night. When you are in that deep anxious state, it doesn't matter if it's something tiny or you actually do get laid off. The tenor and the breath and the impact of it can feel so intense because your brain is in that hyper aroused state. What was my first thought?
