The Kremlin's New Putin Doctrine
Ukraine's 2004 Orange Revolution became a turning point for the Russian regime. By declaring the end of liberal democracies, Vladimir Putin closed pro-Western period that had begun in 1991. The Kremlin intends to offer the world its vision of moral values and defend it from decaying influence of liberal democracy. Russia is going to unify the post-Soviet space and become an independent centre of global development.
