i do the log every single day, because i'm very lucky, very fortunate to work with a really amazing e a who can help me analyze it on a weekly basis. The analysis itself is relatively simple. Take all your tasks, you then categorize them. So my categories include product design, recruiting, p r management, leadership, email and meditation. And then you just chart the time spent in each category. You can then start to compare this with rules of thumb and your ideal week.
