Growth Mind Set Versus Control Condition

Growth mind set is the opposite of a fixed mind set, believing that abilities like intelligence are simply fixed and they'll never change. A study in which ninth graders were randomly assigned to growth or control had twice the effect on grades as aristed. The cost of these programmes would not be all that different from running field experiments with 16 hundred elementary school kids in India.
