Death and Hindsight Bias
nealevy quotes a former afriend of the show, eri schwitz gibble. She's sceptical about death bed being a sort of privileged pepistemic perspective. He says dying might be subject to hindsight bias in the form of a tendency to assume that their current epistemic perspective is identical to the one they should have adopted at the time. And so the example he gives is kind of interesting. You know, there's nobody saying, i wish i had made more money, right? But it could be that they're forgetting how much it sucked to be poor.
