The Importance of Learning Linux
I really think we are underestimating the ability for people to change and try stuff. I'm inclined to say that just let people use whatever platform they want. The primary place where you're going to need to use Linux is going to be in backend cloud computing. If you're writing UI apps, I don't think it really matters what operating system you use.
