Katie: I would say don't live outside your means we have a lot of students, not a lot but we had students who on breaks from die doctor care or in between clinical rotations they would take a trip to Mexico or go up to Vegas. Of course everything's outside your means when you don't have any income at all when you're only living up loans. Katie: The 2021 AAPA salary survey says the median salary for a PA is $115,000. If you are a new grad primary care 25th percentile is probably around 80,000 and I've known some CT surgery PAs who do vein harvesting who make over 150. But it definitely varies by specialty so
