i've been doing mindfulness meditation for about two months now, and i haven't noticed any such gigantic anges in my cognative process. One of things i've picked up from sam harris and om is, ah, just pause and say, i that's just a thought, yes? And when you put your finger on it, say, that's just the thought, poof, i disappear. Yesn that'. The frame of mindfulness of watching the thoughts come in and out of the conscious frame allows one to have the perspective that all this stuff is just thoughts.
