There's no way to fully escape those human nature issues but we've had so many to lack of a better term pause buttons on things that connect us with human nature. I think all of us act as if we are a thing in here behind our eyes and this is just a sort of a machine that's carrying that thing around. It's why we can write science fiction where you know you wake up in another body like the more you think of that the more insane it is because your brain and the brain and all the nerves that brain is going to there would make you who you are. There isn't a way to take that out of this body yet it feels like there is.
