I don't like where somebody will say hey how's it go and how you do and it's been so long since we've talked can you please get me a job. Don't bury the lead tell me what you want in the first minute and if you want to chat afterwards that's even better because now I know not only are you invested in the relationship and the connection cheers but you're also watering it. People who cold reach out when we haven't spoken in years and they're like can you give me a job is kind of an impersonal aspect to networking, she says. "It's really disappointing when I see people only want to connect with people at Google or Netflix"
