Is There a Requirement to a Roth IRA?

I'm really hoping that for the next foreseeable future for five years that the bear market that we experienced, but we just never know. The 401k account I have currently with my employer now is a Roth account and then my wife has right at $90,000 and a Roth account as well. Now none of it is Roth? No, I do have some Roth. But now we're hearing that the new administration may put a stop to those and they may not let you do that.
