Bronwyn's Response to the Home Secretary's Speeding Fine
Harry Braverman got hold of a tip about the Home Secretary and a speeding fine. It looked as though she had asked her civil servants to try and get her once one private course. That immediately raised a number of issues to do with the ministerial code. The Prime Minister took two to three days to determine what he was going to do. But then lo and behold, the Boris Johnson story dropped. He decided not to refer the matter to the independent adviser.
