How to Grow Corals and Restore Coral Reefs
We can now grow corals to the size of dinner plates or basket balls. That in nature might take decades or centuries, we can now grow them in months and years. And then at the same time, with the land base system, again, we can control the conditions. We can raise the temperatures in our tanks and bring them back down. We can stress harden the corals so that when we out plant them, they can better survive. There's a lot more to that as well, but basically, after the corals have gone through this growth and acclimation process, we then go back out into the reef sites that weve surveyed and identified and holpfull.
