The Dual Aspect Theory of Will

Schopenhauer says there's no causal relationship between will and representation. He argues that even though we can give these causal explanations of our behaviors in time and space, on the other side, they are just manifestations of will. But underneath that, there's still the operation of will, but the two things are not incompatible, right?
